frequently asked questions

What is a full spectrum doula?

A full spectrum doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, physical, and informational support for any pregnancy method or outcome - inclusive of surrogacy, planned termination, stillbirth, and miscarriage.

As a full spectrum doula I offer birth doula services, providing individuals and families with support during pregnancy, labor & delivery, and the postpartum period.

Why should I work with a doula?

Doula support has been shown to result in shorter labors, decreased use of pain medications, increased satisfaction with the birthing experience and more!

Research shows, "Of all the ways birth outcomes could be improved, continuous labor support seems like one of the most important and basic needs for birthing people. Providing labor support to birthing people is both risk-free and highly effective."
